The following factors will affect your price:
• The date – a starting price is calculated for each day based on past data.
• The time of purchase – the earlier you book, the better the price.
• The demand – the more people that book for a certain day, the higher the price.
• The weather – the short-term weather forecast also influences the price.
Here you'll find the most frequently asked questions regarding the dynamic pricing model:
Dynamic pricing model
What is a dynamic pricing model and how does it work? The dynamic pricing model constantly recalculates the prices of ski passes. The current price is influenced by a variety of factors, including the time of season, the day of the week, the date of the booking, the current level of bookings and the weather. The price is calculated using an algorithm. One thing's for certain ... if you book early, you reap the rewards.
Why is TITLIS Cableways introducing a dynamic pricing model?
We want to be able to offer our guests the best possible service. The goal of the dynamic pricing model is to utilize our sports facilities more evenly, make skiing more attractive during the low season, and reduce waiting times in the valley with the help of a user-friendly online booking system.
Is skiing more expensive with the dynamic pricing model?
No. Compared to the fixed prices, skiing is less expensive on many days. Early bookings are rewarded with lower prices and price benefits can also be gained on days where demand is lower. During high season, prices may increase due to high demand. One thing's for certain, however ... if you book early, you reap the rewards.
How much does a day pass cost with the dynamic pricing model?
The current prices can be found on our website: www.titlis.ch/skipasses.
Who sets the prices?

guests and purchase
How can guests benefit from the new pricing model?
Our guests can take advantage of the dynamic pricing model in multiple ways. Early bookers will benefit most. The earlier you purchase your ski passes, the more you can save. Our guests can also enjoy reduced prices by skiing outside of peak season.
Thanks to the user-friendly booking platform, our guests can book their ski passes conveniently from home. This means that they won't waste any time at the valley station ticket desk and can instead head straight out onto the slopes.
Does the dynamic pricing model apply to children, young people and senior citizens, too?
Yes, the dynamic pricing model applies to all age groups with children, young people and senior citizens continuing to benefit from lower prices.
The concessions for children and young people remain unchanged from last year – children enjoy 60% off and young people 30% off the price of an adult ski pass on the day in question. On weekdays, senior citizens can now enjoy 10% off the price of an adult ski pass on the day in question.
Why should I book my ski passes online in advance?
Guests who book online in advance enjoy more affordable prices. The daily recalculated price tends to increase the closer the ski day gets or the higher the demand for a certain ski day. Therefore, those who book early get to ski more cheaply than guests who purchase their passes at the last minute or at the valley station. There are no last-minute price reductions.
Can ski passes still be purchased at the valley station?
Yes, all ski passes are still available at the valley station ticket desk at the current daily price listed online.
Is the dynamic pricing model also in force at the ticket desk?
Ski passes are available at the valley station ticket desk at the current daily price listed online. It is also possible to purchase ski passes from the ticket desk for a later date and thus benefit from the early-bird bonus.
How can season pass holders benefit from the dynamic pricing model?
By introducing the dynamic pricing model, we are aiming to achieve a more even use of our facilities. This means that season pass holders can also benefit from the new pricing structure. However, guests will continue to pay a fixed price for season and annual passes.
How do I book ski passes online?
Guests can purchase their ski passes from the comfort of their own home via our online shop: www.titlis.ch/skipasses and pay by credit card (Mastercard, Visa), Postfinance Card, Postfinance E-Finance or Twint. Should the cableways be out of operation on the booked day, guests will receive a refund in the form of a one-day ski pass.
What happens if ski passes are purchased in advance and the cableways are not able to operate on the day in question?
If all lifts are out of operation on the day in question, guests will receive a refund in the form of a ski pass that can be redeemed for the entire destination and on a date of their choice. Guests who have purchased a multi-day pass and have an accident will be given a pro rata refund in the form of vouchers.
