TITLIS is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment. With the construction of the new summit station and the opening of the TITLIS Tower, a completely new summit experience will be created by 2029. During this construction phase, there will unfortunately be restrictions in the summit area for guests with reduced mobility. We are doing everything possible to ensure the best possible accessibility within the scope of the construction work and sincerely thank you for your understanding.

Important information from 17 August to 12 December 2026

From 17 August to 12 December 2026, wheelchairs and pushchairs can only be transported as far as Trübsee. Transport of wheelchairs and pushchairs above Trübsee is not possible during this period.

The reason for this is maintenance and modernisation work on the TITLIS Rotair infrastructure. The TITLIS Rotair will be out of operation during this period. The onward journey from Stand station to the TITLIS summit will be operated by the single track aerial cableway TITLIS Connect.

Guests who rely on a wheelchair are advised to plan their excursion to Trübsee or, if possible, postpone their visit to the TITLIS to a later date.

A depot or parking area for pushchairs will be available at Trübsee. Use is at your own risk. TITLIS Cableways accept no liability for parked pushchairs.

Access as far as Truebsee

The cableway journey from Engelberg to Trübsee is also possible during the construction and revision period. Trübsee is accessible with pushchairs and wheelchairs.

At Trübsee, restaurants and viewing terraces are accessible without barriers. Wheelchair accessible toilets are available at the valley station and at Trübsee.

Access to the TITLIS from 13 December 2026 until approximately the end of 2029

From 13 December 2026, it will once again be possible to visit the TITLIS with wheelchairs and pushchairs. During the construction phase, however, only the new southwest bypass on the arrival level will be accessible at the TITLIS. Other areas on the summit will be only partially accessible or not accessible with wheelchairs or pushchairs during the construction phase.

Access conditions may change at short notice depending on construction progress and weather conditions.

With the exception of the TITLIS mountain station, all stations are equipped with lifts. The TITLIS Xpress and TITLIS Rotair are wheelchair accessible.

The Glacier Cave, Cliff Walk and Rock Passage are accessible only via stairs and are therefore not wheelchair accessible or accessible with pushchairs. Access to the glacier area is via escalators; lifts are currently not available.

Parking Information

• Guests with reduced mobility may drive directly to Parking 1 and conveniently disembark there
• If Parking 1 is full, vehicles can subsequently be moved to Parking 2 or 3
• The first hour of parking is free of charge
• Parking tickets do not need to be validated – simply exit and then relocate the vehicle
