Fast-paced downhill routes, spectacular single trails, relaxed family tours – Titlis offers the ultimate experience for all mountain bike enthusiasts. If you're not bringing your own bike, you can rent one at the valley station and take it with you in the cable car if you don't have the legs for the 13-km ascent to Trübsee middle station.From here, trails lead to Jochpass and Engstlenalp where there is also a tool and compressed air station as well as a tube dispenser. Let's rip!
This ride will take you across undulating terrain as you make your way out of the valley and up to Trübsee middle station. If you don't feel up to the full distance, then you can cover a section of the trail on the Älplerseil lift. You can then take the cable car from Untertrübsee to Obertrübsee.
Known locally as the "Trudy trail" in honour of the hut warden at Jochpass, the Jochpass-Trübsee mountain bike route links Jochpass with Trübsee station down below. There are a number of difficult stretches, steep turns and obstacles along the way, however you won't come across any tough steps or jumps. This route is perfect for downhill enthusiasts.
The new Jochpass trail is a trail from Jochpass to Trübsee and has been designed as a fun trail for both beginners and experienced bikers alike. The various elements and bends can be navigated at different speeds.
The metre-wide Jochpass-Engstlen bike route is relatively easy to navigate. However, there are a few technical biking challenges to overcome along the way.
The 4 Lakes trail (Engelberg-Trübsee-Jochpass-Engstlenalp-Tannalp-Melchsee-Frutt) will introduce you to one of the most beautiful parts of Central Switzerland. Ride with TITLIS Cableways as far as Trübsee. Cycle the short stretch over to the chair lift and make your way up to Jochpass. On arriving at the top, jump back on your bike and enjoy the bike ride over to Melchsee-Frutt via Engstlenalp and Tannalp. Then it's downhill all the way to Sarnen, from where you can take the train back to Engelberg.
