With the BRACK.CH Snow Cup, Swiss-Ski, in collaboration with title sponsor BRACK.CH, offers a program for children to discover the joy of snow sports. The program consists of a course with three disciplines that are achievable for all. Jumping over a small ramp helps children learn to take off and land safely. In the slalom, kids not only aim to ski down the mountain as quickly as possible but also practice the skill of navigating a short distance backward. The short route, meant to be covered quickly in a skating stride, helps children develop a better sense of skiing and practice their balance. This playful approach allows kids to learn the basics of snow sports.
There are now over 15 BRACK.CH Snow Cup destinations spread across Switzerland. One of these courses has been added to our ski resort this year.
Kids can take on the course as many times as they like, improving steadily. Measurements take place on selected days, and the results of the three disciplines are evaluated using a point system, contributing to an overall score. A general ranking is created for each ski resort. The Swiss-Ski website highlights the best performers at each location. However, all participating kids are listed in alphabetical order – everyone who participates is considered a winner!
All participating kids also have the chance to win the grand prize: a day experiencing the Swiss Alpine Ski Championships up close in Davos. Register now, participate, and have fun!
