Truebsee - TITLIS

To help you plan your visit better and ensure a relaxed journey up to TITLIS even during periods of high demand, you can now reserve a free, voluntary Boarding Time for your ascent when booking your ticket—starting 3 August 2026.

With a reserved Boarding Time, you benefit from improved planning certainty for your visit. We recommend reserving your Boarding Time at the time of booking.

Without a reserved boarding time, travel from Engelberg to Truebsee is possible at any time. However, if you continue from Truebsee to TITLIS without a reservation, waiting times may occur during periods of high demand. During peak periods, onward travel from Truebsee cannot be guaranteed if the available capacity has already been reached.

TITLIS remains accessible throughout the entire construction and maintenance period. The boarding time system has been introduced because transport capacity to the TITLIS summit is reduced during the maintenance work on the TITLIS Rotair.

The TITLIS Rotair will be out of service from 17 August to 11 December 2026. During this period, the journey from the Stand station to the summit will be operated by the single-track TITLIS Connect aerial cableway.
