TITLIS Tower becomes youngest member of the World Federation of Great Towers
The TITLIS Tower has been admitted as the youngest member of the World Federation of Great Towers. Accepted into the exclusive association at the 2026 Annual Conference in Kuala Lumpur, it now takes its place alongside icons such as the Eiffel Tower, Empire State Building and Burj Khalifa.
At the World Federation of Great Towers Annual Conference, held from 14 to 18 September in Kuala Lumpur, the TITLIS Tower, which opened in June 2026, was admitted as the youngest member of the exclusive international association of iconic towers. At 76 metres in height, the TITLIS Tower is not the tallest, but at an elevation of 3,020 m.a.s.l. it is the highest-situated tower in the Federation.
With its admission to the Federation, the TITLIS Tower now joins a rank of iconic structures such as the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the Empire State Building in New York, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, the Berlin TV Tower and other renowned towers across four continents.

The TITLIS Tower is part of the «Projekt TITLIS» conceived by Herzog & de Meuron and, together with the new mountain station (opening 2029), represents an architectural highlight and a milestone for alpine tourism with global reach.
