Finally, the time has come – we are opening the doors of the TITLIS Tower!
To mark the official opening of the TITLIS Tower, we warmly invite everyone interested to the «Open TITLIS Tower Days».
Experience an exclusive guided tour through this new Alpine landmark at over 3,020 meters above sea level.
Open Days at the TITLIS Tower – What you need to know
Date
Saturday, 30 May 2026 and Sunday, 31 May 2026
Duration
The guided tour from Engelberg, including the return trip to the valley station, takes approximately 3–3.5 hours.
- The route to the tower includes several stair sections and partly crosses snow or glacier terrain. Therefore, good physical condition, sure-footedness, and appropriate footwear are mandatory to ensure the tour can be completed safely and independently.
- Strollers are not permitted during the “Open Days at the TITLIS Tower,” as they would obstruct emergency escape routes.
Registration
Participation is only possible with prior registration. No on-site registrations will be accepted.
The registration deadline is Friday, 29 May 2026, at 12:00 PM.
Price
- CHF 40.– per person (flat rate for all participants. Annual passes for locals and the AlpsPass are not valid.)
- The participation fee will be fully refunded in case of cancellation due to force majeure. No alternative dates are planned.

Clearance Sale at the Valley Station
A piece of TITLIS for your home
Some things from the mountain carry their own story – and deserve to be part of a new one.
With the opening of the TITLIS Tower, another milestone in the TITLIS project has been reached. The next step now follows: the transformation of the summit station on TITLIS into the new TITLIS Peak Station. To make this forward-looking project possible, the existing summit station will be dismantled over the coming months. As a first step, the building will be cleared out and selected furniture and furnishings will be offered for sale.
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the TITLIS Cableways invite you to a special clearance sale at the Chalet by the valley station. From 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm, selected items from our mountain restaurants will be available – pieces that have served their purpose on the mountain and are now looking for a new home.
You might just find something that will stay with you and remind you of special moments on TITLIS.
While browsing, enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with a grill and drinks – simple, welcoming, and true to the mountain spirit.
This event stands for conscious use of resources: giving things a second life instead of throwing them away. Part of the proceeds will be donated to POW.
