With the opening of the TITLIS Tower in June 2026, the TITLIS project reaches a significant milestone and brings the evolution of the summit experience to life.
The next step follows immediately: the construction of the new Peak Station on TITLIS. During this construction phase, the shops and restaurants in the existing summit station will be closed, and the Trübsee station will become the central meeting point on the mountain until spring 2029. Over the coming years, Trübsee will unite gastronomy, shopping options, and a wide range of activities. With the opening of the new Peak Station, an architecturally and experience‑oriented new chapter will finally emerge on TITLIS, creating a summit experience that sets new standards.
The existing mountain station from the late 1960s, characterized by narrow space constraints, has aged. The new, light‑filled Titlis Peak Station by Herzog & de Meuron will offer significantly more space from 2029 and create a completely new sense of arrival. Construction begins in 2025 and will create a modern, welcoming atmosphere for guests.
