Information

TITLIS is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment. With the construction of the new summit station and the opening of the TITLIS Tower, a completely new summit experience will be created by 2029. During this construction phase, there will unfortunately be restrictions in the summit area for guests with reduced mobility. We are doing everything possible to ensure the best possible accessibility within the scope of the construction work and sincerely thank you for your understanding.

Access & Infrastructure

• With the exception of the TITLIS summit station, all stations are accessible by lift
• The TITLIS Xpress and TITLIS Rotair are wheelchair accessible
• During the construction phase, only the new southwest bypass (arrival level) on TITLIS is wheelchair accessible
• Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available at the valley station and at Truebsee
• Restaurants and viewing terraces at Truebsee are barrier-free
• The Glacier Cave as well as the Cliff Walk / Rock Passage are only accessible via stairs and are therefore not wheelchair accessible
• Access to the glacier area is via escalators; lifts are currently not available

Restrictions during the Construction Phase from 21 May 2026 until approximately the end of 2029

• Visits with a wheelchair are possible up to Trübsee and at the new summit station to the southwest bypass
• Other summit areas (except the southwest bypass) are only partially accessible or not wheelchair accessible during the construction phase
• Access conditions may change at short notice depending on construction progress and weather conditions

Additional Construction Work in Autumn 2026, 18 August 2026 to 12 December 2026 – Access to TITLIS via “TITLIS Connect”

During this period, the TITLIS Rotair will undergo extensive modernisation and will be temporarily out of service. Transportation will be provided exclusively via the parallel cable car “TITLIS Connect”.

Access to the summit station and the southwest bypass will only be possible via several escalators during this time. As the lift systems are being renewed, lifts will not be available.

We recommend that guests who rely on a wheelchair postpone their visit to a later date if possible.

Parking Information

• Guests with reduced mobility may drive directly to Parking 1 and conveniently disembark there
• If Parking 1 is full, vehicles can subsequently be moved to Parking 2 or 3
• The first hour of parking is free of charge
• Parking tickets do not need to be validated – simply exit and then relocate the vehicle
