Iconic architecture at Titlis
At over 3,000 metres above sea level, one of the highest construction projects in Europe is underway: the Titlis Tower (opening end of May 2026) and the new Titlis Peak Station (scheduled to open in 2029), both designed by the world-renowned architectural firm Herzog & de Meuron. In the heart of ice and rock, a new chapter in alpine architecture is being written.
Set amidst this high-alpine landscape, the project marks the highest construction site in Europe – a milestone of modern engineering under extreme conditions. As our guest, you’ll gain exclusive insights into a normally closed-off world – here, you’re at the centre of it all.
Please note: During construction, there will be temporary changes to some pathways. Noise emissions are to be expected, and construction debris may visibly settle on the snow. All attractions remain open as usual – and the breathtaking panorama is as spectacular as ever!
